I’ve been a realtor for 14 years now and what a rewarding adventure it’s been! When I think about all the people and all the experiences that have led me here I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. I’m so blessed to be surrounded by loyal individuals who’ve unconditionally accompanied me throughout this amazing journey. I thank each and every one of you. My beautiful mother, however, has had the greatest impact of all. She’s been my rock from day one and her influence is tangible. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. Mom, I don’t think you understand the degree to which you’ve impacted my life. It’s so powerful and substantial. You’ve played such a meaningful role in shaping, not only my career but also the essence of who I am as a person. Even as a child your greatness never escaped me. I remember sitting on your bed and watching you get ready for work. You’d apply your makeup and do your hair with the utmost care and grace, finalizing the process by spraying on an exquisite scent. To this day, scents are sacred to me. You always handled yourself with so much dignity and elegance. It was in these moments that I felt so proud to be your daughter and so proud to be a girl. I couldn't wait to grow up and do the same. And that's exactly what I did.
Following in your footsteps was by far the best and easiest decision I ever made. Having your mother, as a mentor and career coach is a privilege, not everyone gets to experience. I’m glad to say I inherited the entrepreneurial spirit from you. You carried yourself and your business with so much respect and profound integrity. As soon as I was old enough to truly understand the value behind it, I pledged to work just as hard as you. I’ve never seen anyone more dedicated and disciplined at their skill and I feel so fortunate to have learned from the best. I think the most remarkable thing, however, was seeing the way you engaged with and took care of your clients. The greatest lessons you taught me go beyond business savvy and financial advice. By example, you taught me the importance of loving God and being a good person and you showed me that without respect, kindness and emotional intelligence very little matters and you are, by far, the kindest, most compassionate person I know.
Mom, thank you for being my moral compass all these years. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t and giving me the strength to pursue my dreams. Thank you for providing me with everything I needed even when it meant tremendous sacrifice. Thank you for showing me that a confident woman is a beautiful woman, for your endless words of wisdom and much needed tough love. You truly are a pillar of greatness and I am so lucky to have you as my mother. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for me and my children.
